Will Fung is a principal at Woven Capital, Woven by Toyota’s growth-stage venture capital fund that invests in the mobility of people, goods, and data. Will’s investments span multiple domains including mobility, automation, robotics, smart cities, and AI & Data-enabled businesses. Will is an active investor who supports portfolio companies both financially and operationally.

Prior to Woven Capital, Will was a principal at Samsung Catalyst Fund, Samsung Electronics’ multi-stage venture capital fund, where he invested in AI and data platforms, deep tech infrastructure, robotics, enterprise SaaS, and beyond.

Earlier in his career, Will served as a product manager and engineer at Kovio, Inc., a startup that developed a proprietary printed silicon electronics platform to produce Near Field Communication (NFC) and Radio-frequency identification (RFID) solutions.

In 2022, Will was named a Top 50 Rising Star by Global Corporate Venturing, which recognizes the industry’s top investors chosen from more than 2,000 corporate venturing units.

Will holds an MBA from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Toronto.
