Michigan Tech Week is a premier event bringing together tech innovators, founders, investors, and enthusiasts across Michigan to celebrate innovation, share knowledge, and network. The week is filled with keynote talks, panels, workshops, networking events, and opportunities to explore Michigan's thriving tech ecosystem.
MTW 2024 will feature a wide range of events, including keynote presentations, panel discussions, interactive workshops, startup expos, networking meetups, and more. The full agenda will be posted on our website.
We recommend business casual attire for most of the event. Some social events may be more relaxed, so wear what you’re comfortable in.
Attendees include startup founders, tech company employees, students, investors, university leaders, and organizations focused on technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Whether you're a founder, tech enthusiast, or someone looking to grow your professional network, there’s something for everyone at MTW.

The venue is approximately a 20-minute drive from the nearest airport (Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport DTW). We recommend arranging transportation in advance, and information about local taxis, ride-sharing services, and other transport options will be provided closer to the event.

Yes! Networking is a key focus of Michigan Tech Week. We have scheduled networking breaks, evening receptions, and dedicated events to help attendees connect and build relationships. Each day at 4 pm, we will also hold intentionally themed meet-ups at the main venue so that you can interact with those with similar interests.
Yes! You can request a Public Announcement to allow founders to speak on stage or share big news, like a funding round or product launch. We’re looking for newsworthy, verified updates that will catch the attention of media, investors, and customers.
What we're looking for in Public Announcements:

Media & Digital Presence
No, the conference will be in person and will not be recorded. This allows us to focus on creating a more engaging and interactive experience for everyone who attends!
