Shalanda is Founder and Managing Partner of 100KM Ventures based in Washington, DC. 100KM Ventures invests in early stage companies (Pre-Seed through Series A) within Future of Work and Women's Health.

Prior to 100KM Ventures, Shalanda was an active angel investor investing in 30+ startups. Shalanda has spent close to 20 years in the technology sector holding multiple technology consulting leadership roles at top-tier firms including PwC, EY, and Salesforce after beginning her career as a software engineer. Shalanda holds a BS in Computer Science from Hampton University, a MS in Engineering and Technology Management from George Washington University, and a MBA from Smith School of Business at University of Maryland-College Park.
