Doug co-founded eLab Ventures in 2012 with the aim of investing in Michigan's growing entrepreneurial ecosystem and connecting it to Silicon Valley and has invested in more than 20 companies. Prior to this, Doug held leadership roles at Hewlett Packard, Symantec, and iPass, and he co-founded Mobile Automation, which he sold in 2005. He is actively involved in the Michigan entrepreneurial community as a guest speaker, panelist, and board member of several companies, including Blue Medora, New Vital Signs, Akadeum, Voxel51, Refraction.AI, BlastPoint, Michigan Venture Capital Association and is part of the Michigan Founders Fund Steering Committee. Doug holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Central Michigan University.
